Make sure during opening announcements that you raise your hand to introduce yourself as a new member of AA. Make sure to ask for a meeting list, with phone numbers of the group members. The last thing to remember is don’t hesitate to raise your hand and speak, let the group know what lead you to your first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
